“Let’s begin again for up to now we’ve done nothing” – St Francis of Assisi
Post 53 marks a year of post writing and i thought it may help others to capture this process and the evolution of caddying, these posts and now podcasts with the evolution of the Life Caddy Minute.
In this season of life, and as i move through my 60s, i am reminded of Jesus’ words:
To whom much is given, much is required (Luke 12:48)
i have lived a blessed life. Living in the latter half of the 20th century and first half of the 21st, in Australia and in peace, i have wanted for nothing. i have experienced the growth of technology across that time which has allowed me opportunities and to be much more productive than i ever could have been had i lived in another era. i have had terrific friends and mentors and access to books which have made a significant impact in my life. i have been able to travel across the world on both business and vacation, to understand and experience different people and cultures. i have had failures and mistakes which have provided opportunity to grow and overcome. i have experienced the benefit of modern medicine on numerous occasions. In another time and place, i would not have lived this long. i have never gone hungry.
And so, to one who feels he has been given much, and in this season of life, i recognised it is time to give much. As i have caddied, i have reflected on the people i have been able walk beside, and watched them grow and overcome. i recognised a similarity of issues they are dealing with. Essentially, i recognised there was a wider work that could help others. It was time to dig wells. There was commonalities in challenges faced by emerging leaders and professionals and most of them could be encapsulated within these seven headings:
| 1. Self-Awareness & Personal Growth 2. Career Development & Professional Skills 3. Productivity & Time Management 4. Relationships & Communication 5. Work-Life Balance & Well-being 6. Life Design & Purpose 7. Change Management & Expectations | ![]() |

And so Your Life Caddy has evolved to provide support in a range of forms in response to the burning issues and challenges emerging leaders and professionals face on a daily basis, challenges that sit within these seven headings.
The Journey So Far
Over the first year, 52 blogs have explored these themes deeply. Each post emerged from real conversations, real struggles, real breakthroughs. Not theoretical musings, but practical wisdom forged in actual caddying sessions. The response has been humbling – professionals from across industries resonating with these common threads that weave through all our working lives.
What struck me most was the universality of the challenges. Whether it was caddying a CEO struggling with work-life balance, a middle manager grappling with team dynamics, or a graduate trying to find their professional identity, the core issues remained remarkably consistent. The contexts changed, but the human experience of navigating modern professional life showed remarkable patterns.
The Evolution Continues
Now, the platform of help is expanding. The posts remain the foundation – weekly insights drawn from the coalface of real caddying experiences. There will be posts released each Tuesday. But now we’re adding the Life Caddy Minute podcast, because sometimes you need to hear the inflection in a voice, the pause that carries weight, the passion that text alone cannot convey.
The toolkit continues to grow too. Not more complexity, but deeper simplicity. Tools that work because they’re road-tested, not because they’re clever. Strategies that stick because they’re sustainable, not because they’re sophisticated.

Where We’re Heading
Looking ahead, the mission remains crystal clear: to be your critical friend, to carry the bag while you make the shot.
The expansion into podcasting allows for more nuanced conversations about these seven core areas. Some topics deserve the space to breathe, to explore the grey areas, to sit with the complexity before finding the simple truth on the other side.
The community aspect is strengthening too. As more professionals engage with the content and join caddying sessions, the collective wisdom grows. You provide insight to others; they return the favour. This isn’t just coaching – it’s a movement of professionals committed to getting on top of life rather than having life on top of them.
The Invitation
So as we begin again, the invitation remains the same: Are you ready to break out of mediocrity and tap into your potential? Are you hungry to grow and get ahead? Do you want results… now?
This isn’t about creating more work for you – it’s about providing time-efficient strategies that reduce your workload while increasing your effectiveness. It’s about equipping you with a life toolkit that, if used correctly, will get you ahead.
The blog will continue to address your burning questions Tuesday each week. The Life Caddy Minute will dive deeper into the themes that deserve extended exploration. The one-on-one and group caddying will remain the core where real transformation happens – where the rubber meets the road.
To those who have followed this journey from the beginning: thank you for being part of the adventure. Your engagement, your questions, your breakthroughs – they fuel the content and refine the approach.
To those just joining: welcome to a community that believes you are the hero of your own story. We’re just here to caddy.
Because in the end, that’s what this is all about – helping you regain control, find clarity, build confidence, and create a rich and rewarding life. Not by doing it for you, but by walking beside you as you do it yourself.
As St Francis reminds us, we begin again. Not because we’ve done nothing, but because there’s always more potential to unlock, more growth to experience, more contribution to make.
The bag is ready. The course is set. Your shot is waiting.
Let’s begin again.
Ready to take your next shot? Subscribe to the weekly blog, check out the Life Caddy Minute podcast, or book a caddying session. Because life’s too short for mediocrity, and too precious to navigate alone.
